Well just when you thought it would be safe to go back to the SACnews page I'VE returned. WELL SACsters I've got a lot of news GOOD & BAD....1st the GOOD...the THUDWICKS have been tested out on the street in front of the local Music shop(Johnsons)down town Midland.With Scott(audio guy) on drums & the manager Steve on guitar(lesPaul 82' red top) they had some fun ...at first they were reluctant but after 2-3 min. the crowd(14-other than me & the musicians) started to get into the spirits(non-alcoholic)...Scott was quite amazed at the tones and sound that were coming out of the THUDWICKS After 25 mins. they shut it down with the crowd cheering..They asked if they could put them in the front window with a sign "This is not what you want in drums but maybe all you afford ....Come on in and let us talk.." Some improvements have been added since then.....what you ask??...I've added a small keyboard & a "can" arrangement??? You'll see it when you see it..Now for the BAD NEWS...The truck I was going to purchase after further inspection it was going to cost to much to put on the road(2000$plus)..SO what you ask....Well if I don't have a truck I can't pack all the equipment & food necessary to do the SAC menu plan.....WHO CARED ANYWAY???... On an up note I've "created" some more instruments... an old fashioned string bass(wash tub,broom stick & twine),whisle whips....so remember there's only 26 more days till MAY 18th...still time to think of some creation.
