Good day ,all you S/\Csters out there.....My daughter got me with an April Fools joke.... She re filled my coffee for me.....black as usual.... but had some cookies for her self in the other hand... as she was leaving the room ,she turned and asked if I'd like some ...I replied sure so she proceeded to pass me two ......Little did I know that she'd taken the peanut butter centre out ....replaced with Crest...... Got me....not bad for a nine yr. old... SOOOO....only 8 more weeks till Victoria Day wknd.....Has anyone out there put any thought into the IDEA of having some catered meals.....the sooner I know how many the sooner I can start planning what has to be purchased .....It will give you more party time not having to worry of what to cook....All I ask is that you supply your own cuttlery,plate ,cups since this kids NOT going to do dishes except for the pots and pans..... As I had said in the other memo ,,this is a meal NOT a all you can eat ....let me assure you that if you take SOME of all that will be offered you'll have had sufficient....There'll probably be some left overs which can be negotiable ..E-mail me on any allergies , likes , dislikes ,suggestions .....Scratch mine & I'll ...what ever.... I will require payment by MAY 6th. so I can do the final order.... I shall give out tickets Saturday ,May 19th, morning at my trailer. These will be marked ,at appropriate spot ,at each meal..... Those who send a cheque AND for some reason it does not clear I'll be ....... you know.......this should be fun eh.......You can call me @705-526-1518 or e-mail brown.family@encode.com I shall post numbers of participants periodically in my in this column .............SO FAR THE COUNT IS ......6 ....but three are employies..so do they count?....just a THOUGHT.....If I can boar you all for a moment (sure , your doing a good job all ready) let me assure you that I have done banquets (with other staff) for as many as 500 ..........There is only one small problem I've got to get a half ton pick-up... going this afternoon to look at one ..... did I mention that..... no.....well it's a 81 GMC with the tranny rebuilt 5yrs ago & engine 2yrs ago ...the gent that owns it is purchasing a new king cab to take him in to his retirement years........ You know what I could be a millionaire as we speek right now ...must go and check out my Lotto tickets for Friday & Saturday...........................................I'm back .......... not a million but $10 & a free ticket with encore...........maybe that ticket will be the lucky one.......... How many times have you heard that line.......I myself would NOT like to win the BIG ONE but would be verey happy to win enough to but me at ZERO......no loans, morgage , pay off charge cards.... If that would happen it would sort of be like winning $2000/mo..........oh well that was just a THOUGHT.......What would you do..Just what would you do?.... I remember back when they used to have Olympic Lottery to cover the Montreal games ................SO? .................4 of us at the place I was working at would put $2/wk in & low and behold if one ticket didn't finnaly pay off.......$20,000 devided by 4..........You know $5000 brings people out that you haven't heard from for a while............surprised me............SOOOOO, did you do it yet today ....yea... me too.... great eh..... OH YEA........you know right?....NO...to bad......... How may out there can knock the head of a cigarett off in the toilet .................Yea...... me too......How about a contest .................winner will receive a ?????................for the best crap snap shot of that dump you just had ....you know it was large when it didn't splash into the bowel .............bring them to the fire and vote ...just a THOUGHT....OK not a good one but you've had one that you wanted to take a pic of because no one would have believed you........Just like the fish that got away....OK poor comparison..... Must go for a while it is time to go out of the house....What?.....Yes it is time to take down the X-mas decor...I'm in the spirit too.... it's snowing again.......OH .....how........I can't even write a word that could.....you know..........describe how that makes me feel.................Did the lights......they are downed & packed into their respective places...................Removed the three feet of snow that was on the back porch...........set up a few plastic chairs & waited for the sun to come out ........didn't happen...........I'm ready to crack a brewski when the sun does bath the deck with it's presents...............made a new instrument........yea so what.........it's another plastic pail IDEA............not quite perfected so I guess it 's not an instrument yet.............the basis is sound though ........HA HA....an instrument is about sound of some kind silly boy.................Did I tell you about the photo shot that could have been the other day??? down walking along the shoreline of Wye river with the dog.......looked out over the water , the reflection of the white snow with 2 trumpeter swans swimming along the top of the shadow snow ........ok you had to be there to drink in the contrast of whited & grays sun set sparkling ............... OK thats it ....off the computer .......Bye...........That's all I've got to say about that.......B.B.B. What is Going On
